Strike Pro SE Kick trigger

The kick drum sponge, situated below the trigger sponge, is a little higher than the trigger's sponge, and I think this causes the missed triggers/beats, randomly. I tried two different pedals and all possibilities, but here and there, a beat still misses.
I have just temporarily mounted my Roland trigger, below both of theseand played 4 songs successfully, with no beats missed.
