Alesis DM10 and Yamaha cymbals
« on: August 25, 2018, 05:07:28 AM »
Hello there,
i'm planning to replace my alesis dm10 cymbals with yamaha ones.

I'll get 2 yamaha pcy135 for crashes.
I'll get 1 yamaha pcy155 for ride
and yamaha RHH-135 for hi-hat.

will these work with the dm10?
Demon to some... Angel to others.

Yamaha Triggers don't play well with others...save your money.

great!
i wanna do the same, 2 crashes and 1 ride. i can live with the alesis hihat,
please tell me, have you noticed any difference with the yamaha cymbals from alesis?
do they trigger better (especially the ride)?
Are they more fun to play?

The bow triggers just fine, I don't use them as a ride though so I don't know how well the bell triggers. They have the best swing of any cymbal on the market so I use them as crashes.
