KMI Smart Fabric

I have been keeping an eye on Keith McMillen's Smart Fabric Tech and midi over the past 2-3 years.
He has gone through a number of kickstarter campaigns and most recently released a drum pad.

Pearl Drums has also gotten into this and is releasing a Mallet station using the Smart Fabric sensors

So maybe in the next couple years or so we'll start seeing a wider range of sizes or maybe even kits

I'm also interested in the KMI QuNeo controller (https://www.keithmcmillen.com/products/quneo/) with its MIDI expander option.

Maybe it could be adapted to a multipad trigger unit with larger pads kinda like the DTX Multi-12 or a scaled-down Trapkat layout.
