Drum Splitters (not the company) TRS to (2) TS have been around since TRS inputs and multiple zone triggers become available.
You shouldn't have any problems as long as you're not splitting a Cymbal Input...they are pretty basic

The Jambox 3 Professional Grade (3-6) by Drumsplitters appear to be using ALL Open Frame TRS jacks.. TRS to TRS..and the ring is left open (unsoldered) on the (3) Rim and (3) Head inputs...(WHITE=Tip/Head..RED=Ring/Rim..BLUE=Sleeve/Grnd).. (attached) probably got a deal on overstock somewhere..
I see the Chinese TRS are more abundant (Cheaper) on the market compared to TS.
I don't see any resistors which is required for use with certain Roland Modules,I constantly see for"Volume differences".so maybe some Roland Triggers used a 35mm for the Rim..Not Sure as I don't have anything in the way of Roland.
Alesis uses 27mm/27mm for Head/Rim in Toms..35mm for most of the Cymbals. The STRIKE Uses (3)27mm..(2) for the head (1) for the Rim.
I also don't see anyway to mount so it would be laying or connect a velcro strap and wrap around someplace.

I did a small run (100) a few years ago..including rack mounts , multiple sizes and clamping styles for Industry standard 1-1/2" racks with the option for Econo (Plastic Enclosure).. or Tour Grade enclosures..Anodized Aluminum  with Closed frame Jacks with Military Grade wiring and available Blank for DIY'ers that may want a combo splitter/Hub etc.
I was in the Harley Davidson aftermarket industry for 30 years  and I had access to a Foundry..had my own machine shop so I manufactured, machined and Anodized/plated/powder coated a complete line of Billet Aluminum..all in the US.I will never and have never used...China.
At the time DIY was popular so I had to re-consider releasing as I didn't believe the Market would support a $100.00 Splitter...so I shelved them.
If the Market has changed and Splitter boxes like the one being offered by Drumsplitters..Jambox 3 Professional Grade (3-6) can get a $80 price..I may have to re-consider and dig them out of Mothballs/Storage..

Pictured is the Econo..4-8..which I believe would have been the most popular..splitting 4 Toms/Rims.
