DM10 MkII module Kit volume vs Song volume
« on: July 06, 2023, 03:41:28 PM »
I'm fairly new to the E drum world & just bought a DM10 MKII Pro Drum Set. My question is regarding playing-along with any of the built in "songs": Both kit and song play just fine except I can barely hear the kit. I have maxed-out the volume on each drum (127 seem to be the max volume) but whenever I adjust the volume knob, both kit and song increase/decrease the same.  How can I get either less song volume or more drum/cymbal volume?

Welcome to the Forum !

The DM10 MKII Pro can adjust for both Kit and Song Volume..
Press KIT or SONG..
Use the UP [∧].. DOWN [∨] Buttons/Cursors/Arrows on the pad to the right to change from Kit or Song Selection to Kit or Song Volume Level....the selection will be Highlighted
Use the DATA DIAL and scroll to desired Volume or Kit

I Attached examples that I lowered the Volume to about 1/2 (64)..

There are also a number of ways to increase volume other than Kit and Voice level...including raising the overall Kit EQ's.
Go  into the Trigger settings..The Sensitivity levels are tied to Volume.
The default Sensitivity levels are quite low (Snare/Tom Heads are typically 10) and you can raise as high as 32..Volume level will go up drastically with the Dynamics remaining intact..so be careful if wearing Headphones. You can then save the Trigger settings after you have made your adjustments.
The DM10 MKII Pro is one of the few modules that allows you save and recall different Trigger Settings.
