I was looking at a couple myself...figuring out what everything is with all that has been happening..Tariffs..etc...is another story.
Audiofront is in Taiwan..so at the least +32%..so that places total cost each in the $525-$600 range (Paid ship+sales Tax) and I am unsure about sales tax and who collects it...
Thats a bit pricey for a TMI.
I used Airmail for previous purchases from Audiofront and they came straight to my door and now I don't know if "Airmail" (No tracking) is USPS for Customs/Collection and I would have to go pickup  or if I should get Tracking and use EMS which I don't know if they are setup for Collection.

I recently had an issue with some High End Stage/DMX gear from a Company in Germany.
The shipment made it to the US just before the May deadline (under $800 per item)...however the Customs Documents were made out as Germany and it turns out they have the product manufactured in China , which changed the country of origin so delayed the process a day or so placing it after
the deadline and drastically changed the amount and applied to numerous other items that were just under the $800 threshold to which there was now confusion on who owed what from where and why...ended up the Carrier just returned it as "undeliverable" and I eventually (just) received a refund.

That's a shame. I didn't see anything on Audiofront website (at least obvious) that states any of the that. And if that is the case they should say something when you click the "buy now" button and they don't. If I pick FedX for shipping it just states the total price is $479.00 to my address. Not cool and Audiofront should say something.

Agree..most have an address under contact info or about etc etc.
I knew it was Taiwan as I had purchased a few products over the last 10-15 years.
The only "Official" text I could find is at the bottom of the Product page

Audiofront is officially 傑克曼數位樂器研發工作室 Tax Number: 87582094

and an old post from 2020.

I would presume the eDRUMin is manufactured in Taiwan or China..Tariff is similar for each.

I checked around to see if there are Distributors....none in the US
I see Drum-Tec is advertising the eDRUMin 12 on their site expected June 15,2025 at 629 Euros..USD..$714.99.
So it seems all countries have some sort of Tax on it..The US was the cheapest place to order one close to it's actual price of $399.99.

I have some manufacturing Friends that are currently trying (long waiting list) to Air Freight tens of thousands of products to the US which is their main consumer, to be warehoused/distributed by Amazon as they don't have the ability/time to properly setup a website to deal with all of the US State Sales tax and a few (1,200) just cleared Customs under the current 10% from China which is now going to end rather quickly as a further increase has been announced to 125% on select electronics, textiles, and manufactured goods..the window is closing fast and the eDRUMin if ordered today might not clear Customs at the lower rate in time.

So I guess I will wait it out and see if anything changes...If it's manufactured in China and shipped from Taiwan to circumvent the Tariffs (Common)
and it's discovered..I don't want to risk them showing up with an additional $1,000.00+ Due.
