Hey Gang!
Just wanted to drop in and show you guys my studio "Frankenkit"
It started as an Alesis Surge kit.
At some point, I picked up a Crimson 1 module, and started building.
Now, it's an amazing kit to perform on in my studio,
and every drummer that has come in has enjoyed playing on it.
Everything is Alesis except for the kick pedal.
12" snare, standard kick, DW 5000 double kick pedal, (2) 8" hi toms, (2) 10" floor toms,
12" hat, 14" ride, (2) 12" Crash cymbals, (3) 10" crash cymbals

Enjoy!

Welcome!

Nice touch on the holes in the two cymbals. It makes it feel a lot more interesting as a kit.

Thanks!
I wish I could take credit for that.
But I got the idea from another E-Drum user, and thought it was visually appealing.
I agree. It makes the kit appear more interesting
Which, in turn, makes it a more desirable instrument to play.
I also have it connected to the studio computer.
Able to trigger a pretty extensive library of drum programs and sounds.
Superior Drummer is my current favorite.

Everything about this setup is cool. Thanks for sharing.
