Repairing Strike 14" Snare

I bought a broken Strike Pro 14" snare with plans to repair it.  I'm very handy, have fixed other electronics, can solder, all of that, but need help to understand what should be going on inside here.  Does anyone have pics or diagrams to help me rebuild the electronics?  Thanks in advance.

Ouch! I don't have a Strike or any advice for you but wow, that looks nasty. Wishing you luck with the repairs and hope you get it to work as it should  :)

Is the 8" tom the same depth as the 14" snare?  I'm considering buying a tom to part out and help with the repair.

I am not familiar at all with the Alesis Strike wiring, but they aren't known to be the most reliable. If I were you, I would build my own trigger system and put it inside the shell. The interior on that seems to be in really bad shape.

I think simple wiring should work.
Both piezo share same ground (wire that comes from metal disc) and it goes to the sleeve.
Head piezo wire that comes from ceramic disc goes to tip, rim piezo wire from ceramic disc goes to ring.

For those waning to follow along with the repair.  I to everything apart (that was screwed, not glued), cleaned things up, and remade the center sensor with a 3d print and new piezo.  Now I just need to clean the outer sensor with a solvent, add new piezo there, solder them to the plug, glue new foam feet to the center and seal it all up.
