These sound packs sound really cool. 

If I'm being totally honest, the thing that really got my attention was the silkscreened Zildjian logo on the Alesis electronic cymbals in the video. I assume that is just for the video to advertise the new cymbal packs, but Alesis would be very smart if they could come out with a Strata kit that has those packs (in the module) and Zildjian silkscreened cymbals. That kind of thing pulls a lot of weight with acoustic drummers. Just my two cents.

If you already purchased Expansions previously for the BFD Player (Sale just ended at $9)

The Following BFD Player Expansions (PAID) are also available for Direct Download to the Strata PRIME Module Internal Drive..or SD Card..or USB Drive..
Strata CORE Modules..you will need to install to and run from a properly formatted USB Drive as there is not enough space on the Internal drive..and there is no SD Card.
The USB drive must be a speed of 3.0 or lower.
The content may not perform as expected from a drive speed of 3.1 or higher and is unsupported.

If you are Not using BFD Player and Don't want to purchase Expansions that are aready on the Module..the BFD Player CORE Library,Dark Copper, Dark Mahogany,..are already in the Module under Dark Farm..

The PRIME Module can download the Expansions (Sound Packs)  directly to the Internal Drive and Authorize..Via Wifi..

After login..Select Activate..then the Download will appear.
The Module will Download..then Extract..I presume like BFD and BFD Player the OS will then cleanup/remove the downloads to Free up Space on the Internal Drive.

The interesting part is...Zildjian refused to License the Zildjian Vault to InMusic when they acquired BFD..
Existing Expansion owners were issued New Serial Numbers....No New purchases were allowed.
At the same time Zildjian was developing their own Module..Alchem-E.

Apparently there is now a "Partnership" as the Boot Screen now shares Logos..

I just saw a new Kit on the Guitar Center web site , Alesis Strike Max 9-Piece Electronic Drum Kit With Zildjian Cymbal Sounds - Black Galaxy

Apparently the additional Expansions were not supposed to be available...

I presume someone seen my post ....the Expansions were removed from the Server and sent out a remote removal via Wifi as I powered up one of my modules with the Expansions and they were listed and working...connected Wifi to see if any others had been added..instead the ones installed were removed..
They are still installed as the size of the Internal Drive is the same..just removed from access.

Unknown.... that since Deactivated Remotely and not manually..if that counts against the Activation count..which according to InMusic is 3 Activation's per purchase.

I'll keep Wifi Disconnected on the other Module...
This will also give me the opportunity to check how the Licensing/Activation works..timed..or every start up..or if it is as bad as BFD,which the License check for ALL Content at every startup has ruined it.
I do know that if you log out of your InMusic Profile on the Module...the expansions are removed from access and you have to Log back in with a phone etc..
Refresh/Re-Populate and Re-Activate....

EDIT:
After checking the other Modules(s)...Module must be "Online".
Powering on/startup...It scans for Expansions/Licensing..
Expansion Default Preset or Factory Preset with Expansion Kit pieces/User Kit/Presets that I had already created will not load without Activation....you have to wait for the scanning to complete and then the module goes Green/Online and you can load the Preset...not good for stage use if you have a problem or power outage etc and need to reboot...you'll also need wifi access.

Power On/Startup......Activation/Content Check/License.....1Min 5 Sec.....BEFORE you can select Expansion Factory Preset to Load.
This will only increase as more content/Expansions are added...same complaint/issue as with BFD....which can take anywhere from 5-10+ Mins (Depending on Expansion count etc)

There is No Reason for a License Activation check BEFORE you can select a Kit/Preset from an Expansion...it is a Drum Module
