Surge Cymbal Mounts

(1/2) > >>

DeeDubs:
Dear Alesis,

Please make the anti-spin cymbal post adapter available on its own. My second crash cymbal will thank you ;)

Guinness:
for my ride, I used just a standard cymbal arm.  I cranked it down, and it doesn't spin at all.   Also, someone posted a link to a product that could be used in lieu of the pin  (I found the "anti spin" pin to be in the way on the ride.  I'd always hit it when triggering the bell.)

so, for me...  I have the "pin" arm on both crashes, and the non-pin arm on the ride.  Works pretty good, imo.

ghostman:
There is always the Aquarian springs.

I have a few of these, and they work great for anti-spin.
I don't like that they clamp down to the threads of your cymbal mounts - possible thread munging.

Guinness:
I like those for China's, and not so much for a crash or splash.  Not the same cymbal swing feel, in my opinion.

skalos:
I bought the surge as replacements for the DM6 cymbal pads but I dont have the anti spin pin... Does the pin help? Can I buy it from somewhere?
