Hello there.
I have alesis dm10 and i play only with midi and ezdrummer on logic prox.
A thing i wanted to ask is, how can i have better accents in my midi track?
i want the drums to sound louder when i hit hard and lower when i hit them soft.
Can anyone please help me with that?
Demon to some... Angel to others.

I've been going through settings for the same reason and I've found that this approach works well for me:

Using the snare as an example, set the response to Linear. Set the sensitivity to something like 10. Start hitting the snare as hard as your normal hard strikes would be. Not as hard as you possibly can, but the high end of your normal range. keep your eye on the meter on the module. You want to gradually increase the sensitivity setting until those hard hits peak the meter all the way to the right.

If you go too far, the drum will be too sensitive and you'll peak it too easily. Too low and you won't be able to ever reach the full range of the drum.

From there, adjust the threshold setting and the crosstalk settings if you need to. Once the range is set as described, you can also mess with the curve setting to adjust how the full range is used, but I prefer Linear or Log 1 for most of the drums.
