Carbon fiber drumsticks?

I did a search in here and Google and really got nothing.

Would there be any reason NOT to use carbon fiber drumsticks on our E-kits?

They implode with too much pressure.

Could you elaborate a little? I?ve never heard such a term in regards to drumming before? 🙂
