I am using an Alesis DM10X Mesh Kit and I have a question about recording things.
Normally I have my phone connected to my drumcomputer while using a tulip cable (white and red, connected to the back of my drumcomputer) and the same cable (but then the other side of it) connected to my phone (with a mini jack connection).
Next to this I use a headphone connected to my drumcomputer while using the headphone entrance in the front right.
So that's my setup.
What I would like to do is the following:
While listening to a song on my headphone (while using my phone connected the way mentioned above and while using its mediaplayer to play music), I would like to add drums to a particular song/track that still has no drums (but has vocals/bass/guitar). So it I actually want to overdub this song.
Is there an easy way to do this? I already checked the DM10 X Manual but when t comes to software/hardware knowledge I'm not that experienced.
Hopefully there will be an understandable solution.
