Well I was lucky enough to attend last years Roland V Drum Main Event in Birmingham UK last year, I came across the link showing some videos etc.

Sadly Steve Whites showcase hasnt made it onto their website, but I can tell you all the drummers present inc Johnny Rabb, Craig Blundell and Steve White were awesome.  Enjoy the performances.

Thanks a lot for sharing!!!

Being new to this forum, I discovered your post only now. WOW!!!  :o
Fantastic players; my favourite is Johnny Rabb -- on my opinion, due to his technique and willing to explore new stuff he's THE perfect e-drummer.

In fact he uses a lot of unconventional sounds, effects and loops, and that's the point. I think that to use an electronic drum kit just as a substitute for an acoustic drum kit is perfectly acceptable, but puts some limits.
It's a little as if a keyboardist would buy a hi-tech keyboard model just to use the piano sound. Nothing wrong with that, but what about the "rest-of-the world" yet to be discovered?

I'm convinced that good drumming starts from good thinking. I'd love to hear your opinion guys...

I would agree, Johnny Rabb has a wonderful technique, and to see what he does is amazing, but my best memory was Steve White, he was really good, considering he only had his e kit a week, he was doing some wonderful stuff, even played New Order's Blue Monday, wonderful kick technique.....
