Help! Some drums are not as loud as other drums. (DM-10)

Two drums are not as loud. I did a full module reset. I also get the connection error at boot. I tried switching the cables and it is the module that is the problem. What should I do, other that curse Alesis and buy Yamahas?  :-[
I did the 682Drums no soldering upgrade. See my photos here: http://www.dmdrummer.com/index.php?topic=3683.msg31354#msg31354

I too have the same issue since converting over to 682 mesh. Only on the 10" Snare pad. All of the tom pads are perfect. I tried changing the foam cone to a firmer type to see if it was a case of not enough transfer of vibration. Unfortunately that hasn't fixed the issue. I plugged a smaller pad into the same channel and its loud so that rules that its definitely pad related. Might have spend a bit of coin and buy another pad.
