I know I have seen posts in the past for a teal Hi-Hat setup for the Alesis Command E-Kit. But I am going to ask anyway. Is there a Real High-Hat setup that WILL work with the Alesis Command E-Kit?? I love the kit with the exception of the Hi-Hat. It sucks bad!! There must be a tried-and true method/setup that will solve this problem. Thank you all for your advice. It's very much appreciated. Welcome to the Forum !
All of the DD650 Re-Brands (Crimson/II,Command,DM10 Sudio MKII,Forge) have been known to have the Pro-X work "Plu-n-Play" even tho the Pro-X/STRIKE is FSR.
All have the same Sample Base and use the same Trigger Harness..differences were upgraded hardware and Firmware limitations..mainly Single Zone Toms (Forge) and Single Zone Ride (Forge,Command). The Command Module Firmware supports both Rubber and Mesh Heads. The Pro-X was discontinued years ago , but as mentioned the STRIKE HH uses the same controller with the difference being the Top Cymbal..The Pro-X is/was single zone..the STRIKE..Dual Zone. The only DD650 Re-Brand that supports a
Dual Zone is the Original Crimson..The Crimson II has a Pro-X/FSR setting in the menu.
Goedrum also makes a controller specifically for Alesis..Goedrum GHC-AN
it is not FSR..it uses a slide pot.
