Hi hat sounds closed when playing but plays back open

Hi. I have a DM10 kit using Logic and BFD2. When I play the hi hat closed it sounds proper. While recording it does as well. When I play back the recording the hi hat sounds open - sometimes. Sometimes the same notes sound closed but then they go back to sounding open and stay that way.

Check your CC-values for the hihat in Logic. I'm on SONAR myself and in any such event I enter piano roll->CC4 and make sure that lines representing different CC-values (open/closed) are in order.
