Title says it all. NAMM starts January 22nd. Anything new going to be shown that we don't already know about? Or will the major players just be showing off their current catalog items?

I'm going to go out on a limb and say Yamaha will have something new/updated to show for edrums. I have no idea. It's just a guess, but it seems like it's been a while since something new came from Yamaha.

What would you guys like to see (or think we'll see)?

So, I'm guessing nothing of any great importance (as far as edrums) was announced at NAMM? The only thing I've seen so far is:

- Yamaha EAD50

LUDWIG Total Percussion Pad

There was also the PEARL eROADSHOW...which was also another Re-Brand

Alesis,Roland displayed all of the Previously released Kits.

DWe added a couple New Kits to the lineup...$$$$

DWe Collector's Series DrumLink 4-Piece Acoustic-Electronic Drum Set

DWe Collector's Series DrumLink 5-Piece Acoustic-Electronic Drum Set

other than displaying existing,a few Re-Brands and additions to current lineups.....nothing really except the Yamaha... as far as "New"..

I was expecting more including InMusic to provide some updates for the STRATA and a "New" BFD..which has gone silent...neither one happened.

Native Instruments just became "Insolvent" and has entered preliminary insolvency proceedings (Europe's term for " Bankrupt")...so I wouldn't be surprised if InMusic made a move to acquire some or All...
