Alesis Dm10 detect auto trigger but not produced a sound

Hai.. Firstly Sory for my broken English..im from malaysia..
I have buy alesis module dm10 second before.
Problem i have right now. Module doest not produced any sound.. And auto trigger (circle goes black ) even without pad connected,, and if i unplug all the cable.. And turn on .. The calibrate fail on screen always tear up..(it normal or not i have no idea?) 
I have buy 3 adapter..all are AC to Ac. 9v ..
From 100-220v..universal.. To a single voltage 240v (malaysia type voltage) ..still not fix

 Actually this is my second alesis module (sale long time ago) and i have experience that wrogly used Ac to Dc  .but thanks for this group@site sharing the solution..

So for this second time buying module..im expected have problem with adapter.. But now.. I can't fix it same as before.. 

Im confuse.. Izit this module have hardware issue or what??

Welcome to the community!

Sorry you are having issues with your DM10 . Based on what you have stated, it sounds as if the module is bad. I'm guessing someone before you used the wrong power supply and burned out the module. You might want to try to get a different module.

It's hard to say. If you know how to trouble shoot electronics and can replace very small components on the PCB, you might be able to fix the module. With as old as the module is, it would be much easier to just replace it with a known working replacement module.
