I've built a kit, and took a subset of the kit to make a mini e-kit for PS3 music game playing.

Rather than repost all the details here, go to my blog for the best in pictures and description..

Looks great ghostman! I like the your drum rack. Good way to think outside the box.

I've been using strut since my first e-build in '94.  it's great!  sometimes the versatility of a Gibralter rack beckons me, but I've figured out a lot of ways to use that strut..

I have my accoustic kit on a gibraltar rack, but it's pretty expensive and probably overkill on a much lighter electronic kit.
I will probably steal your idea, if u don't mind ;).

Actually, the strut is probably a lot STRONGER than the Gibraltar, but it's probably cheaper if you know where to go.  I use SuperStrut, other brand names of strut are Uni-strut and B-Line.

Thats an industrial strength rack than. Cheaper is better anyway, although i'm kind of hoping to find an old second hand rack for a small price.
