Author Topic: DM10 Studio - USB midi -> PC - Missing multiple simultanious triggers  (Read 2510 times)

I feel like I'm missing something obvious here and have searched for an answer for hours.
I've got the kit outputting to Superior Drummer 2.0 on my PC via the USB interface, however if I hit more than 1 drum at exactly the same time, only 1 drum gets played.
I must be missing something as it seems fundamental that more than 1 trigger can be transmitted at once!

It does play 2 at once directly on the PC, so it looks like the problem (setting hopefully) is on the DM10 brain.

Thanks!

Ok scrap that, I can't play 2 simultaneous triggers on the kit itself either.
Anyone know what's going on?
Is there something wrong with it?

Is it any two triggers or just certain ones? The reason I ask is because adjacent zones (meaning two zone on the same input, i.e. snare head, snare rim) can not be played at the exact time. I hope that helps. Let us know.

BTW, Welcome to the forum!

YAY thanks!
Although it wasn't that that was the cause, it was a similar thing.
I was getting a lot of xtalk, so I set all the drums to 7 send 7 receive - Eliminating all xtalk.
This also prevented 2 triggers (any 2 drums) being played together!

Good to hear you got it figured out. :)
