Hi

Anyone know how to get the DM5 Pro hi hat pedal working with Superior Drummer?

I guess you've got it figured out by now being two weeks late to this, if not write back and I'll tell you... it's way easy but I'm typing one handed right one, honestly - got Doritos powder on the other hand... ewwww.

OK, my hands are clean now  ;D  I think you probably found this out but will post it for anyone trying and stumbling across this post:

There are only three subpads you need to edit, ignore the rest... unless of course you have a dual zone hi hat and need to set tip and shank.

First, it's important to edit the subpad ONLY. Set the subpad for hihat closed to "Learn" for the midi note. Once it's set to learn press down on your hihat pedal to set the closed sound.

Second, set the subpad to hihat CTL, just make sure it's set to CC04 which is the most common midi control number for hihat pedals. If it's not change it to CC04.

Third, set the subpad to hihatTrg. Set it to learn the midi note, then hit your hihat with your stick to set the note.

That's it. After that you should have a hihat that functions full range.
