Nitro Drum Kit

It's a rebrand of the Alesis DM7X kit. It just confirms my suspicion that Alesis is dropping the "DM" branding.

Alesis change name of their products without increase quality and features?

for the basic kits, the naming convention will work... kids want a "nitro" type rockstar name...

once you have invested more into your basic kit and then expanded what you have further you will be in the market for module codes such as DM20

I was looking for my first kit and was looking at the DM6 and then saw the Nitro. What is the difference and which is better there is only £20 difference between the two. I'm not worried about different sounds and just want a normal sounding kit.

So I went in a shop to look at the Alesis DM6 and Nitro kits and ended up walking out with a Yamaha DTX450K !

The module says "DM7X" on the bottom.  It is pretty much a DM7X Studio kit with downgraded single zone pads.  It has jacks for all the things that would have been included with the DM7X Session kit, and the play-along learning material makes some use of the fourth tom and second crash that aren't included.

I had mine for 40 days before I turned around and upgraded it.  Some of the parts live on in my DM10X Mesh kit.  I've given up on selling what's left of the kit.

Do you still have any of the parts left?  I might be looking for a 4th tom and a 2nd crash (with the mounding clamps and cymbal rod/clamp)  I got one of these as a 2nd kit and I am in need of a 4th tom and 2nd crash.

I ended up using the cymbals and related hardware on my DM10X rig.  I have everything else just sitting around in a box.
