I almost said "no" it doesn't work, but the truth is, now that Alesis has the new update to the DM10 I'm not sure if it can be made to work or not.

Yeah it should be compatible. I mean I wouldn't drop 700 on it though...

Before the Pro-X update these were not compatible at all. Now that we have the update for the Pro-X it is a better chance, but without someone to test we will not know.

It's not a mistake. Roland is discontinuing these Sliver VH-12 hat's. They have a ton of them and need to get rid of them

Yes, I was referring to the Pro-X update.

I feel bad for people who bought this for $800 previously... also shows how overpriced these roland products are seriously.

Just ordered one!  SO crazy, why not blow them out for $199 or $249.

I'll be interested to hear how it works. I'm on a watch list at Sweetwater for availability. But, sure would like to know how it works before buying, even at that cut cost.

I ordered one too. For that price, I can't pass it up. If it doesn't work, on ebay it will be going.

Well, that didn't last long. Probably for the best. I was on the fence anyway.

That was my understanding, too. Wasn't sure if they had any stock though that filled orders.

My thoughts exactly. Also, with the upgrade and some tweaking, it might be a step up from the Pro-X. Worth the gamble.

Mine arrived today!  I am using it with my DM8 on my small basement set.  It works!  I got nervous at first because I wasn't getting a closed hat sound, but then I remembered about calibrating!  I only played a few minutes, but I do like it.  The DM10 compatibility chart says that heel splashes are not possible, but I have not tried any, nor have I tried barking.   Is it better than the Yamaha PCY "wedge" pad I was using?  Yes, for $99 it was.  I think I will cut down my hihat tube by a couple inches because I like my hats to sit a little lower, but that's just my preference.
