Author Topic: Alesis Strike: Export Instrument sounds to listen to "offline"...?  (Read 1428 times)

Hi.

Is this possible? It would be good if I can sit with my iPad / MacBook, and just listen to each instrument sound, and note suitable ones for certain uses. Using the Strike Editor is OK but no quick way to just quickly hear each effect. Cannot see an "export" function either.

Using file explorer I can see .sin files in the instrument folder, but they are a few bytes in size and can't be played in iTunes / Media players I have...

EDIT: Apologies, just found all instruments are WAV files in the Sample folder...  :-X

yep.  And if you have your kit plugged in and have strike editor open you can preview every individual sample by clicking the triangle next to it.   Its just faster than sitting and waiting for an MP3 player to open and preview the samples that way.
