Any hole won't matter at all - as long as the foam presses against the walls of the pipe you're fine.

Thank you Trondster!  So for just about $3.75 more, I'll have the rack tubing dampened!!  Can't beat that!!  ;D

Although my rack is diff on the X kit, I def plan on dampening rack! Thanks for this thread.. I will come back here once I start the process.

Tron,

I'd like to replace the feet on the base of the kick. Where did you & how did you find a tiny screw to mount the new feet on? The tiny screw that originally is attached to the small feet is what I mean...

I haven't measured the screw - just take your old screw to a hardware store and buy a longer one. ;)
