I purchased Blue Jay this morning and when I went to install it,it gave me the "invalid unlock code" warning.
I got on the phone with one of their tech and it turns out that the ser.no. on the back of my DM10 is different from the one in the module. You can see the internal ser. no. by holding down stop and record and powering it up.Then you press play and it shows you the serial no.
Just the second last digit was different. The tech said he's seen this before.

Anyway, now im waiting for another download to appear in my account.

Most of that stuff can be found on the forum here: Advanced Drum Module Techniques

Keep in mind many of the image links are no good as they were stored on my personal website that I don't have any longer. Unfortunately it would be way too much work to restore most of those images for the small amount of interest.

Greetings,

Assuming you are referring to the DM10 original module and not the MKII module.

The topic you are looking for is here: DM10 Custom User Kit & Instrument Downloads Area (sysex or DMeditor files)

Keep in mind because the DM10 could not save out separate kits, the whole memory is wiped when you install someones kits. This is part of the reason there isn't much there.

Quick note: You can also use the "Search" tab to find the topic you are looking for.

thanks Hellfire,

yes indeed, the original DM10.
ok I wasn't expecting a link to a forum, instead I thought it would bring me to a page containing only downloadable kits.
Is it correct I need to find attachments in the forum posts and that is the location to find other kits ?

thanks !

Unfortunately, not many custom kits were ever programmed for the module. This is because it isn't possible to download and load only one kit at a time. An entire memory dump must be done to install new kits (which means it wipe the memory of the module to do this so you must back up your module before you install anything). Not only that but it also turns out that 99.9% of edrummers don't make custom kits (for what ever reasons  ::) ) for their modules (basically everybody is just hoping someone else did the work so they don't have to). From what I remember there were only a handful (like five or so) of custom kits made for the DM10 on this forum. So, nope you are not going to find anywhere on the web a list of kits to just upload to your module.

That doesn't exist anymore. Sorry I can not find a backup on my computer either. Maybe you should try this one instead:
