Alesis DM10 - Improving the Hi Hat
« on: May 07, 2017, 03:27:54 PM »
I'm looking to upgrade the hi hat the x hat is supposedly not great. With the Roland 11 coming in at a £350 price I was going to engineer my own own hat using the £45 goedrum controller. Has anyone had any experience with it and are therefore any alternative methods? Also has anyone tried the full £150 goedrum set? I don't mind using metal cymbals and modding ;)

Hi, I have the goedrum jumper kit and I switched the module with an alesis dm10. For me it works perfectly: nice chicks, barks and splashes with very minor tweaking. I like it a lot with the dm10 and I will recommend you go for it.
