DM10 Kick voices

Hola.  (Let's try this again.  The cymbal post didn't seem to get much traction.  How about Kick?  :) )
 
So... what's your favorite?
 
Right now I'm using (Not exactly sure on the name):  Big 26" on A at 90 lvl, and tight 20" on B at 85 level.  The room is either warm studio or wood room.  I'm not positive.  (I'm at work, so doing this from memory.)
 
I thought I liked the kick, but now it sounds almost too 'manufactured', and boomy.  So, it doesn't sound realistic.  I play mostly rock, and like a good solid, deep, and tight thump.   But I thnk I also want to hear the beater hit for more some realism.  Anyways, I'm rambling.

  I am awaiting my DM10.  Rest assured, I will try to comment on these when I get my DM10.
