Superior Drummer and Velocity settings
« on: January 09, 2017, 05:50:43 PM »
I recently picked up Superior Drummer and have been working on getting all the mappings to work with my DM10X kit.

The only issues I find is that I hear different sounds triggered when I hit something harder.  For example my ride cymbal - ride is fine, bell is fine but if I hit the ride a little harder I hear the floor tom!

Any ideas how to configure this properly?

TIA

Silly question.. But you sure you are not hearing crosstalk? Unplug the ride cymbal and hit it hard again. Do you still here the floor tom?

Yeah it's possible there's crosstalk doing it. I'm just not sure how to fix it.

If your ride only triggers the floor tom occasionally when hitting the ride hard, you should increase the xtalk receive on that specific floor tom (in the module, not in SD).
Had your ride been responsible for mistrigging several toms when hit hard you would need to increase the xtalk send value on the ride. Get it right in the module first, before you enter Superior. That said - attaching my module settings just for fun. But really pointless since it depends on how each user has his/hers kit setup.
