That's a dmdock with an ipad, a now defunct piece of hardware. Allegedly it wasn't very good.

Actually, it's an iO dock. Not a DMdock. You can just make out in the picture the name "Alesis iOdock".
Slightly different device. The iO dock was designed to interface mics, midi and audio sources with an iPad.
