The problem just started?...New module?
The Firmware you currently have is the latest I have seen...most Crimson II I have seen are LDMB V1.1.0
There is No firmware update..The modules are based on the Medeli DD650 and Medeli doesn't release firmware to the public..

You have already done the Factory reset and If you have already swapped drums around to ensure that both zone(s) are triggering on other drums/cables etc  then it's most likely the DB25 Harness...either a problem with a pin at the connector or the molded TRS end.I see you found the Pad Test..(Module tests down+up+power on) so it won't do any good for me to recommend it other than be careful just trying random button combinations or you risk getting stuck into programmers/service area or erase the module..

If you just purchased/received the module (New)...
You can check  with support at Medeli Europe and see if there has been any complaints/issues with that firmware..
