DM 10 MKII Pro Hi Hat (double trigger that comes with kit.
« on: February 17, 2018, 12:49:27 PM »
New owner of DM10MKII Pro kit.  I have what may be a strange question,  What are the actual 2 zones on the Hi Hat trigger?  I have been trying to set the edge sound but module only recognizes Hi Hat BOW when I strike the trigger, but not h hat edge.  Are these supposed to be the two zones?  Or what are the actual two zones?

yes edge and bow.   The sound can be quite similar.

Hi.

If the DM10 is anything like my Strike kit, the default sensitivity for the hihat edge is about half that of the bow. Check the trigger settings. (FYI I have my edge @80% and the bow @10%.). Also the Hihat with the Strike ( is the the same part?) works better with the ALESIS logo towards you (See picture). Conversely the other cymbals seem to prefer the ALESIS logo at the back.
