CANOPUS Co., Ltd. and ATV Corporation are announcing their collaboration on the creation and distribution of new sounds for electronic drums.

"CANOPUS" is a highly regarded Japanese acoustic drum manufacturer that is popular with drummers around the world.
The two companies are now co-producing new drum sound instruments for ATV's "aDrums" line of electronic drums.
These additional sounds will be available for purchase and download from ATV’s online sales site, the "ATV SOUND STORE".
ATV's electronic drums are world renowned for the high-resolution sound recordings that help to reproduce the natural playing experiences of acoustic drums.
Professionals and amateur drummers alike enjoy this experience of playing electronic drums with realistic drum sounds.

ATV sells a wide variety of high-resolution drum, cymbal, and percussion sounds via the "ATV SOUND STORE".
By applying the characteristic sounds of CANOPUS drums to ATV’s electronic drums, the aim is to authentically reproduce the unique sounds of a drum manufacturer with electronic drums, thereby removing the barriers between electronic drums and acoustic drums to promote the market expansion of both industries. Both companies are convinced; this is the way forward.

“CANOPUS and ATV” will unveil their first sounds at NAMM 2020 - the world's largest instrument show, starting January 16, 2020 in Anaheim, USA.
ATV will be exhibiting in HALL C booth # 6629, and CANOPUS will be exhibiting in HALL C booth # 6929. Both companies plan to release more than 20 sounds together throughout 2020.
