This is my first post to the forums, so I just wanted to say "HELLO" and hope everyone is well. I hope this post doesnt step on toes or isnt a rehash. I tried to do a search of the forums (while not an intense search), and I didnt find anything that could match up with this. If someone knows if this has been touched on, my apologies and if you could provide a link, I would appreciate it greatly.
Ok, so, I have a Strike pro with the v 1.5 updates. It had been performing flawlessly since I got it. I decided to use the direct line outs to run to my daw. I also ran the direct outs to the daw as well with the intention of treating the direct outs as and 'overhead' to bleed in the other tracks if needed. After I fired up the module after running them to the daw and firing up my daw hardware and recording software, it would only send a signal on the right audio side thru the direct outs and the headphone jack. As my drummer was playing them to test for singals in the daw, I noticed it was only coming thru on the right side. When i went to pull out the headphone wire(I had put the headphones on to see what the situation was), as I pulled it about half way out, it was in stereo, but after that, the left side went totally dead. I tried to go into the setting to check the panning and when I went totally to the left, I still got no signal. I tried a factory reset and also reloading the v 1.5 update.
Does this sound like its something in the settings? I couldnt for the life of me find any panning settings in the settings other than the one I tried? Is there a setting that gives you an option to route the output in mono and stereo, as like a routing send setting?
Im dreading what I think might actually have happened. Does this sound like a hardware issue re: like a fried board or something that will need repair/replacing?
I have a repair support ticket submitted, but Im not expecting much to come from that so I signed up here to reach out to what Im sure is a varied and competent user base.
Thank you, best of luck to you all, and be well
Carl
