Recording with the Strike pro module
« on: September 29, 2024, 02:57:55 AM »
Hello everyone, a repost from the facebookgroup, but would love more insights! In Three weeks I'll be in the studio for the very first time (life starts after 50, right? :-) ) Now when playing live, I either plugin straight to the mixing desk from the main-outs of the strike module or multipad, or I use my own mixer and then to the maindesk. The producer/engineer is not sure this will work in the studio, he's afraid he'll need DI-boxes. Now I'm planning on using the individual outs, to have more control over the different sounds and I haven't used them in a live setting, where I connect them directly to the main desk. I have used it through my own mixer though, and it has alwasy worked in the live setting.
So long story, short question; will I need DI-boxes to record the direct outputs from the Strike Pro module?

Thanks!
