Kit Too Large ruins layered samples
« on: May 10, 2021, 12:01:09 AM »
Hello all! I recently exported a whole bunch of sounds from SD3 and created several large kits with the strike editor. When I reach the kit size limit I've noticed it cuts out all velocity sub-layers for the sound. For instance, when I create a kit with a single Tom assigned all the velocity layers are different and heard. When the kit size exceeds 200MB I can ignore the warning, however, all the velocity layers stop functioning. Does anyone have any insight?

Nothing you can to about it, just keep the kit size under 200mb.

STRIKE PRO SE:  I ignore those Kit too Large.  I use multisamples imported from Slate and Sd3 on most of my kits with zero issues except a few seconds of additional load to cache the sounds   I notice no dynamic range issues at all.  If samples are dropped I don't find them noiticeable.  My videos speak for themselves
