Increase sound cymbals in Turbo Mesh Kit
« on: December 11, 2020, 03:49:14 AM »
Hi!

I have a Turbo Mesh Kit edrum and i the cymbals sound really low.

It is a known problem, I found a video on YouTube explaining how to improve it by soldering a resistor in parallel.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g_5cwiJi838&t=11s

The problem is that when I open it, the circuit does not correspond to the one that appears in the video, so I have not dared to continue.

I know there is another page where they explained it with photos, but I've been looking for a week and I can't find it.
Do you have any of this information?

Basically it is to solder a 4.7kOhm resistor in parallel, but I am not sure where

Thanks

This is what I did and it's definitely improvement. Make sure to use some hot glue to keep the resistor in place (same idea as for existing wires).
