I got a good deal on a Nitro Mesh secondhand but it didn't come with a hi-hat control pedal. I got a Kat Hi-Hat controller and it didn't work. I made sure the 1/8 to 1/4 adapter was TRS and even used a multimeter to verify the pedal was putting out a signal, and adjusting the settings on the module, but I can't get any signal whatsoever.
So it looks like this Kat pedal isn't going to work, and it's back to the drawing board.
I would like to find a hi-hat controller for under $100 if possible, but if I need to I'll swallow my pride and pay more.
