low-noise cymbals and triggers
« on: March 26, 2025, 09:47:44 AM »
Hi all,
Enjoying my Alesis Strike Pro a lot, however I do not fancy the HH and cymbals and looking for some real (low noise) copper  ;D

Any advice on "ready to go" good quality sets to replace the rubber HiHat and cymbals? Note: no DIY Piezo trigger stuff etc.. I am a terrible DIY-er

(and apologies upfront: I strongly believe there are loads of topics already, but I have not found any satisfying answer yet (I will keep looking)

Regards

Welcome to the forum Bert!

I'm not 100% sure I understand your question. Are you asking for something more low noise than the stock Strike Pro rubber cymbals? If so, there really is nothing. Rubber cymbals tend to be the most low noise you can get.

Or are you saying you don't like the feel of rubber cymbals and want to go the low noise metal cymbal route? Keep in mind when metal cymbals state "low noise" that means compared to standard acoustic cymbals and are much louder than your rubber cymbals.
