;D ;D I just got done ordering an Alesis DM10 Pro Kit ;D ;D
I have been involved with electronic drumming in some capacity for about 20 years now and I have never bought an off the shelf eDrum kit before. I have never had the money to do so. I started saving for this kit when I first heard it announced (and sold a lot of stuff on eBay!) just to afford it. I have never spent that much on a piece of music equipment before.

I will do my best to give an over all review of the kit once I get it up and running.

Wow Hellfire!

Now I expect audio, pictures and especially a video of you trying it out!  8)
I think everyone want to see a video of a real life user playing the DM10. I want to see you try it's sensitivity, rolls and ghost notes etc.
Props to you for being the first one here on the forum to buy DM10!

come on spill the beans.....any good?
When I get it, I'll let you guys know. I was told by Sweetwater that it should be here by the middle of the week. I will admit I'm a little nervous about this purchase. To me $1500.00 is a lot of money. I have never spent that much on any one edrum item before. Because of that, I'm afraid that I might be overly critical about this kit. We'll see, I guess.

cant wait to see your review, maybe even a sound clip/video. I have been waiting for this for ages now, as to me its a straight choice between the Alesis and the Roland TD9

That's ok as long as you post a video of you playing it  ;D
(Something tells me you won't do that, but I'm holding my thumbs for it to happen)

I don't see you using the pad much, but I'm gonna love your thoughts on the module!!
Congrats!!

so any news yet Hellfire??
I did get the DM10 Pro Kit and I'm currently writing up a complete review of the kit. I'm doing it in two parts. The first part should be up at my website by the end of today.

I can tell you that the variable hi-hat works really well. I was quite shocked at how well it does cymbal swells. Some cymbal sounds swell better than others. Here's is a couple pics of my kit:
