NITRO ULTIMATE

The new Nitro Ultimate is a nine-piece kit that?s been designed to offer a complete practice-to-performance solution, and promises to bridge the gap between entry-level and professional electronic drumming.

Movable, Stand-Mounted Hi-Hat

The Nitro Ultimate hi-hat controller is designed to function seamlessly on a traditional hi-hat stand for an authentic, familiar feel. By using your own hi-hat stand, you can play with greater nuance and dynamic control?just like on an acoustic kit?with  the comfort and responsiveness of a setup you already know, instead of adapting to an unfamiliar setup or floor pedal.

Dual-Zone Cymbals with Choke

Get the glossy ping of a ride cymbal, the rich wash of an edge, and responsive choke functionality all in a sleek, grooved package. The Nitro Ultimate comes with four 10" cymbals: one ride, two crashes, and a hi-hat with stand-mounted controller.

Dual-Zone Drums with Mesh Heads

The Nitro Ultimates dual-zone drums let you play naturally with full expression. This super-responsive technology, used in the kit's three 8" toms and deep 10" snare, allows for more advanced drumming techniques like rimshots. You can also choose to assign different sounds to the rims to add more color and variety to your drumming.

Rugged Steel Rack

The reinforced four-post rack with curved steel bars is both sturdy and immensely adjustable. Whether you're recreating the layout of an acoustic kit or dialing in a custom configuration, the flexible design makes it easy to match your preferred playing style. The rack adjusts effortlessly to accommodate drummers of all sizes, so you can create your perfect setup and play with confidence.

Bluetooth Connectivity

If you have a phone and headphones, you?re ready to go. Connect seamlessly to the Nitro Ultimate and dial in your sound directly on the Module. Start the music or video on your phone and you?re all set to get in a practice session or just jam for a while.

Alesis's most comprehensive Nitro drum module yet

The appropriately named Alesis Nitro Ultimate drum module represents nothing less than Alesis's finest Nitro module to date. Powered by the robust BFD Player (and featuring the free Dark Mahogany expansion pack), the Nitro Ultimate module sports 36 preset kits, and you can select from more than 640 sounds to create 16 custom user kits for a total of 52 kits. The always convenient integrated Bluetooth means you can start jamming along with songs or listening to your new Drumeo lessons from day one. Finally, using MIDI via USB connectivity, you can run your Alesis Nitro Ultimate kit through your favorite drumming software for unlimited sound and recording options.

Natural feel and playability

With 52 kits and more than 640 sounds to explore, the Nitro Ultimate offers immediate inspiration. The kit?s convenient Bluetooth connectivity makes it easy to jam along with songs, engage with lessons, or start recording. Users get 90-day access to interactive lessons from Drumeo, as well as the BFD Player Software with Dark Mahogany Expansion Pack and BFD Player Core Library for free.

Stand-mounted movable hi-hat for a more authentic hi-hat experience that supports advanced playing techniques and works with traditional hi-hat stands (sold separately)
Dual-zone drums with mesh drumheads for quiet, responsive playing with an acoustic feel
Newly engineered groove-style, dual-zone cymbals with choke functionality for control and nuance?allows for separate edge crashes and bow/tip sounds
Sturdy, reinforced rack structure empowers drummers to play with confidence
Included Nitro Ultimate Module features 52 built-in drum kits and over 640 sounds for immediate inspiration, plus free access to BFD Player

It has been out for a while..just not "Officially' I was working on final lay/uploading the official product release details and video was just released an hour ago and the User Guide..I had already pressed the upload button as I didn't see you posted during..I'll move it here or delete it..whichever way Hellfire want to go..

Main changes are finally a Std rack..and a (2)pc Hi Hat controller..Dual Zone Toms..Dual Zone Cymbals..the Module is loaded with the BFD Dark Farm Expansion.
Dark Mahogany which was also split off to a BFD Player version.

The NITRO ULTIMATE user Guide shows the same MIDI mapping/Notes as the other NITRO Modules..single zone Cymbals...so there is some confusion.
The Cymbals may work on earlier..IF there is a TRS cable on the DB25 harness..

Every Nitro owner will be after the HH controller..it is NOT a Variable Controller and is setup for sending 1/2 open...

Something isn't right about those pictures. The image of the pad by itself shows a "basket" like bottom design, where as the kit image shows a solid bottom design on the two rack toms. Alesis marketing department needs to be more careful when showing product shots.

Yeah..I was was going through and had questioned  about a number of images...some of the latest 10" cymbals on other Nitro Products (Pro/XL) still have the "Hammered" look and now show a full strip on the edge  and you can make out a small switch area just above it..however still show the Choke Dots (7 Dots) on top.
The Newest 10"(Nitro Ultimate) release have the same offset design , however a "lathed" look including the rubber strike pad...No Choke Dots..No small switch area (Choke) above the strip.
The older/original 10" have the "Hammered" design/look..No edge strip and the switch area (Choke) goes all the way to the edge of the cymbal.

It appears there are now (3) 10" Cymbal designs....so there will be as much confusion as the multiple versions of the DMHat Pedals.

The Toms for ALL Nitro products show closed bottom....The Tom image posted above has the rack mount.
The Nitro Pro product page along with some of the Newer Models shows the Toms with closed bottoms with the open for the Snare.
The Strata Club and Crimson II are closed Bottoms...the CORE and PRIME are entirely different.
so the Tom image is incorrect?..and the kit it belongs to?..

EDIT:
After checking the Snare does have a rack Mount...so the image is probably of the snare..so I'll remove it..I got it from another reviewer for the Toms.

Well, I was hoping Alesis redesigned all of their pads and went to a open bottom on all triggers. That actually makes play the drum quieter.

I also thought all New models would have the similar Trigger system for the Toms by now..even the beginner/entry level kits Turbo MAX,Nitro MAX have the New Open trigger design.
The lineup has been almost completely replaced in the past couple years...I haven't seen any New Patents for Trigger Systems in quite awhile.

as far as Patents/Mesh/Trigger Systems go.
The InMusic/Roland Copyright Infringement Lawsuit is going to Re-trial...Federal Judge Vacated the damages from the 1st one.
I believe a lot of people are watching this one..

Federal Circuit Orders New Trial on Damages in Roland v. InMusic

Face the inMusic: A Corporate Patent Owner Cannot Recover the Lost Profits of a Subsidiary.

On appeal, the Federal Circuit vacated the entire damages award and remanded the case to the district court for a new trial on damages. With respect to lost profits, after reciting the "general rule" of lost profits recovery noted above, the court held that Roland had failed to introduce substantial evidence that Roland U.S.s profits "inexorably flowed" to Roland. The only evidence introduced was testimony from an executive of both Roland and Roland U.S. that Roland U.S. was a wholly owned subsidiary, and the court held this to be conclusory and insufficient.

Thanks for fixing it.
I tried to change the title after I took a second look and realized it was all lower case, but couldn't find how to edit it.

I'm mostly with Yamaha stuff, but I must admit, this one's got a lot going for it.

Hi, I am a new member here, and I am looking for info and clarification on this new Ultimate Hi-Hat controller.

Do I understand the feature and the capability of this Nitro Ultimate Hi-Hat solution with the following summary?

It offers the real Hi-Hat pedal feel (obviously, with standalone Hi-Hat stand) - however the Hi-Hat transition between open and closed is not continuous - since this Nitro Ultimate module (as any other Nitro module) supports the Open-HalfOpen-Closed Hi-Hat states/sounds, as listed in the Ultimate Module User Guide.
So, this provides the real Hi-Hat control feel with the stand, but not the real Hi-Hat open-close sound transition. With the Hi-Hat stand you still need to experiment where the exact transitions between Open-HalfOpen-Closed sounds - similar to the other Nitro HH control pedal solution.

The Complete Hi-Hat sound and feel is provided by the the Strata modules: they support the the MIDI CC for Hi-Hat - there is the Hi-Hat calibration process and the further tuning for the continuous control - and this is not required/available for the Nitro Ultimate module.

I wonder if I understood the capability correctly of this Ultimate Hi-Hat solution. Thanks for any comment/correction/confirmation, in advance.
