Can Alesis Strike cables be unbundled?

Hi,

I am pretty sure the answer is yes but the cables with the Strike module are bundled with a wrap near the module. I want to replace some of the very long cables with something shorter to make the appearance a little more clean. I am reluctant however to cut/remove the wrapping. Does anyone know if it is OK to remove the wrapping?

The wrap around all the trigger cables is just a cable organizer to help prevent a spaghetti mess.....you can replace it with Velcro.
