Choke that cymbal

New to the SE Kit. Out of the box, all 3 cymbals are unable to choke when my hand grips any part of the cymbal edge(s). Is this something that needs to be set up somewhere?

The switch for the edge zone/choke is on top so when you squeeze the choke you are using your thumb.
It's not quite a 180..you should see/feel an indentation.
If you are using software/Vst make sure under UTILITY>TRIGGER..that Cymbal Choke is set to SENT.
