Well done Alesis
« on: July 21, 2017, 10:28:04 PM »
Alesis have revamped their community forum content to make it accessible in product categories: https://c.getsatisfaction.com/alesis/categories
Although they could be better organized to browse the 3 latest topics for most of their edrum products on just several pages.

Also congratulations to Hellfire for being acknowledged as a Champion contributor: https://c.getsatisfaction.com/alesis/details  :)
Maybe D.N.A. received an honorary distinction for just being a long term member.  ;)

It's kinda interesting that the original DM10 Studio kit now has a (2011) 'tag' added to its name.  :o

I didn't even know it existed like that. I just went there today this link: http://community.alesis.com/alesis

and it still looks the same as it always has. I don't think the revamped site it meant to be 100% online yet. Just a guess since they haven't updated the original web address site to reflect the changes. Not only that, but the link from Alesis.com still takes people to the old looking site.

I think you just found something pretty cool rhysT!

Also, thanks for the congratulations, but I must say I've had that designation for quite some time. :) (dating back to 2012 I think)

Actually I hadn't fully explored the current Alesis "Products & Services" section of their community forum (arranged in alpha-numeric order) as I usually just check the "Recent Activity" listing and do an occasional search.

To be fair ChrisK first flagged the new forum format on Vdrums.com and it's prob'ly a work in progress as the "ALL" and "PRODUCTS" tabs currently show the same "Categories" content layouts.

It's rather amusing that 'Champion' status is also awarded to a member who has never had any activity on the forum and thus made zero posts.  :o

Btw, the Get Satisfaction website explains their involvement with the InMusic community forums: https://getsatisfaction.com/corp/product/
