Hello

Hello all, been following this site for a few months now and finally picked up my DM10 Pro Kit. Very much appreciate the videos over at Hellfiredrums.com and all the videos that Guinness has put up.

I got it all setup last night and can see many hours of 'tweaking' ahead of me. Very much impressed with the overall quality of the kit (minus the plastic 'hardware' used in some places)

Thought I would say hi and show off some pics of my setup.

Nice looking set-up. Is your snare electronic as well? I like the little computer monitor on your music stand. Is that used for mp3's?

BTW, Welcome aboard the forum.

Thanks! Yes, the snare is electronic. I built it from the various DIY edrum sites/forums (currently only single zone(working on that)). Ordered a maple shell from drumfactorydirect + all the hardware, few items from home depot, bit of stain, some lacquer and I was off! The head is a billy blast mesh head (I ordered the one with the patch, but quickly removed it because it felt funny)

The ASUS tablet is one of the first gen tablets. It's a full fledged computer that I'm pullin video/audio over a wifi link into the DM10 from either a windows media center that  I have down stairs or from right over the internet. I'm going to build a proper mount for it and get rid of the music stand.
