Hello all. I just purchased an Alesis Command. I used to have an Alesis Surge and decided to upgrade. The issue that I am having is that I cannot record what I am playing on my iphone using the camera like I did before on my Surge. I have all the same hook ups that I used before and had no issues, however now with the command, it will not record the audio from the module to the Iphone. Currently the set up consists of: Headphones plugged into the headphone jack. Aux cable from the Aux to the laptop. 1/4 cable in the L/mono output that runs into the IRig which then runs into the Iphone. When I record the audio is just picking up from the Iphone. I have replaced the IRig 3 times. I have used a dual 1/4 cable to run both outputs to the IRig, I have tried using a MIDI 1/4 and nothing seems to be working. I have even used multiple different Iphones. If there is something I am missing please let me know, I am at a total lost at the moment and cannot upload any new videos for my channel. Thank you.

Are you recording in Song or Kit Mode?
Song Mode (from the Song Menu ie press Song) press the [RECORD] button, recording performance with accompaniment (on board songs) playing.
Kit Mode (from the Kit Menu ie Press Kit) press the [RECORD] button, only recording your drum part performance.
However I figured out...In KIT Mode (from the Kit Menu..ie Press Kit before ) You can connect an audio source (smartphone mp3 player..any audio through a 3.5mm TRS cable) to the Aux input and in KIT mode..[RECORD].. and the module will output your performance and the Aux audio together as an mp3 and will save it to the USB Flash Drive..
So it should apply to the Main Outs also...
I don't have one of the Medeli DD650 Re-Branded modules setup right now so check and see if that helps..

PostEDIT:I just checked a Crimson II and Crimson Module and Audio passes through the Aux input to the main outputs simultaneously while playing the Kit in both Kit and Song Mode including having the backing songs/accompaniment..the separate drums and aux in playing also...so it doesn't matter which Mode you are in all 4 passed through.
I sent audio (using TS cables and then swapping out to TRS cable setups) to an amp...an audio interface on PC and also into an Alesis IO Dock/iPad setup and had no issues.
I don't know why it's not working for recording with the irig/camera kit.
You can check both Main outs and see if Audio is coming through each output..if both outputs are sending audio then the issue is not the module..
