Some of the time when playing the hi hat open it makes a horrible metallic ringing sound. When I close the hi hat for a min then reopen it usually goes away, only to come back again soon. This happens across all drum sets and I've tried tweaking settings. I've also tried swapping hi hats and hi hat controller with no improvement. I'm using a roland hi hat most of the time but even with alesis brand it happens. Alesis support says it's out of warranty and they don't know why it's happening
