Does it have to have 100 ohm resistor, as some claim its required for strike module?

I've got the DM10 so I can't tell you reliably for the Strike, but I've never heard of resistors in the splitters and have a variety of brands which all work for either my module or other musical/recording equipment without fail, so I assume that as long as the splitter is TRS to two TS inputs and the wiring is good it should work.. if Chaser chimes in here he'll set the record straight no doubt.

Nope. The 100 ohm resistor is for Roland modules only. Alesis Strike does not require the resistor.
