Have any of you used one of these with a DM10, they say it’s compatible with Alesis but I can’t find much info on them?

I would contact them as ask for the resistance range.
Universal controllers listed as working for multiple companies with a continuous/variable will work...but will they work well.
The range on a Roland is much smaller than Alesis..20kOhm fully opened compared to around 77kOhm for the Alesis
and since your module is 2nd hand/used check and see as it may have been updated for the Pro-X (FSR)
